The Ministry of Social Policy and the "Prykhystysvoikh" Charitable Foundation to Launch a Job Search Platform for Internally Displaced Persons

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the "Prykhystysvoikh" Charitable Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The initiative includes, in particular, the launch of an online platform that will combine job and housing searches for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

"Today, during the war, it is extremely important to help people who have been forcibly displaced to restore a normal life. This includes not only housing but also assistance in finding employment and integrating into life in new communities," said Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine. "That is why we support initiatives that help IDPs settle into their new locations. We are actively developing support tools such as rental subsidies for IDPs, psychosocial support at Resilience Centers, supported living services for elderly IDPs or persons with disabilities, the 'municipal nanny' service, and others."

The "Prykhystok" volunteer team’s initiative, founded by MP Halyna Yanchenko, has been helping Ukrainians find free temporary housing for over three years. Now, thanks to cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, it will be expanded to provide IDPs with employment opportunities, vocational training, and legal support.

"This partnership is a logical continuation of our work. During the war, we implemented an initiative that has helped over a million people. Now it’s time to take the next step: helping people find jobs and integrate into new environments. We’re already at the starting line! The website is under development, so we’ll be presenting it soon," said Halyna Yanchenko, founder of the "Prykhystok" initiative and Member of Parliament.
