The Government Expects the Law on Social Housing to Be Adopted Soon — Denys Uliutin

Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine Denys Uliutin took part in a coordination meeting on cooperation with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy of Ukraine – Minister of Culture of Ukraine Tetyana Berezhna.

During the meeting, the Minister highlighted key priorities, including support for internally displaced persons, the development of social housing, and strengthening the capacity of communities.

The Minister added that the Government expects the adoption of legislation on social rental housing in the near future.

He also stressed the importance of developing a network of Resilience Centres as a key element of psychosocial support at the community level, including through the training of specialists and strengthening local capacities to deliver such support.

For their part, representatives of the Council of Europe Development Bank underlined the importance of strengthening partnerships at the community level and confirmed their readiness to continue supporting the development of Resilience Centres as a long-term initiative.
