War and long-term separation are a challenge for every family. Comprehensive service for the formation of resilience can help families of soldiers and veterans, as well as the defenders themselves receive psychological assistance and not lose a sense of family.
This was stated by Denys Uliutin, the Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine during the Veteran Forum which was held in the Kyiv region.
“The Resilience Centers are a place where everyone can receive psychosocial support. This includes self-help training, group sessions with psychologists, and family activities. I invite you to visit these Centers,” the Minister emphasized.
Currently, 326 Resilience Centers are operating in Ukraine. With the support of a grant from the Council of Europe Development Bank, 600 social managers and social workers already working at the Centers will undergo advanced training this year and next.
