"Reserve+" app now offers deferment for spouses caring for persons with disabilities

The "Reserve+" application by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has introduced a new deferment category - one spouse caring for a husband or wife with disability group I or II.

To obtain this deferment, disability information must be recorded in the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere (UISSS) or the relevant information system of Ukraine's Pension Fund. Additionally, the marriage must be registered in the State Civil Registry.

How to apply:

• Install the latest version of "Reserve+", open it and tap the three dots on the main screen;
• Select "Request deferment", then choose the appropriate category;
• Submit the request and receive a notification with the result.

Importantly, this service is also available for persons with disabilities whose data is recorded in UISSS. Step-by-step instructions and recommendations for cases with missing data are available via the link.

Recall that the online deferment option first became available in November 2024. Currently, 40% of all deferments are processed through the "Reserve+" app.

This service was implemented by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Ministry of Justice, and Pension Fund of Ukraine, with support from Germany's Federal Ministry of Defense, BRDO Office for Effective Regulation, and the European Union under the DT4UA project implemented by Estonia's e-Governance Academy.
