Additional payments from the UN World Food Programme (WFP) for pensioners, persons without pension rights, and people with disabilities have been extended until the end of July 2025

Since August 2023, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Pension Fund, and WFP have been implementing a joint project to combine efforts in providing financial assistance to Ukrainian citizens from international humanitarian organizations.
Under this program, the most vulnerable categories of Ukrainians living in areas of active or potential hostilities, with low incomes and not receiving other financial assistance from international organizations, have been able to receive additional financial support.
The payments have now been extended for another two months, until the end of July.
Through this program:
- Over 315,000 Ukrainians receive about 216 million hryvnias monthly
- Since the project began, WFP has assisted vulnerable Ukrainians totaling over 5 billion hryvnias
The amount of assistance equals the difference between a person's current pension (or social payment) and 3,250 hryvnias. For example, if a social payment is 2,700 hryvnias, the person receives an additional 550 hryvnias from the WFP.
Recipients don't need to take any additional action; the assistance will be paid through the same channel (bank card or Ukrposhta) they already use to receive their pension or social payments.
