In Ukraine, 2.6 million people have a disability, more than half of them of working age. Only one in three of them works. That is - more than 1.7 million people are deprived of the opportunity to work! Unfortunately, not all of them can exercise their right to work, as on their way to work there are not only general problems in the labor market, but also transport, communication and psychological barriers.

A pilot project of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Public Organization "Social Movement" Social Unity ", launched under the National Barrier-Free Program, aims to help people with special needs in the implementation of one of the main constitutional rights of citizens in our country - the right to work.

EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Our joint work is focused on all aspects of employment. These are first of all:

• quality training, advanced training or retraining according to the requirements dictated by the current labor market:
• formation of a platform for effective contact of socially responsible employers and conscientious workers;
• adaptation of people with special needs in labor collectives;
• full and comprehensive informing of persons with special needs about their rights and responsibilities during the labor process.
