Preparation for the Opening of the Unity Center in Berlin: Ilona Havronska Held a Meeting with German Partners

Ilona Havronska, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity for European Integration, held a working meeting with the team of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, led by State Secretary Bernd Krösser, and attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Oleksii Makeiev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the opening of the Unity Center in Berlin.

"Germany was the first country with which Ukraine signed a declaration on the establishment of Unity Centers. We are grateful to the German side for its proactive position and willingness to work together so that one of the first Unity Centers in Europe will open in Berlin in the near future," — said Ilona Havronska.

The Unity Center in Berlin will become part of the Unity Network, which is being developed with the support of international partners and the involvement of existing Ukrainian community initiatives abroad. In addition to Germany, the first centers of the network will open in Spain and the Czech Republic.

It should be noted that Ilona Havronska recently held a meeting to discuss preparations for the opening of the Unity Center in Prague.
