Iryna Oleksandrivna Postolovska
Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for European Integration
- Born on October 26, 1988, in Kyiv.
- She holds a higher education degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
- In 2010, she graduated with honors from Macalester College (USA), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies.
- From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a Health Financing Consultant at the World Bank in Washington, DC (USA). From 2012 to 2017, she pursued doctoral studies at Harvard University (USA). She was awarded a Doctor of Science degree in Global Health and Population from Harvard University, which was officially recognized in Ukraine as equivalent to a Doctor of Philosophy in Social and Behavioral Sciences, specializing in Economics.
- In 2017, she began working under the World Bank Group’s Young Professionals Program in Washington, DC. From 2017 to 2020, she served as an Economist at the World Bank, focusing on health care in South Asia, Europe, and Central Asia. From 2020 to 2022, she was a Senior Economist for health care in the Middle East and North Africa.
- From February to September 2023, she served as an Advisor to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine. On September 29, 2023, she was appointed Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for European Integration.
